Monday Morning Thank You

Thought I would do a quick post since I am having trouble getting back into the swing of things on this lovely Monday morning! Kerry and I just got back yesterday from Kauai for a YES trip. We had a fantastic time - more on that at a later post. But I always find it funny that I come home from a vacation and need a couple more days to recover. It seems like I spend the next day or so wandering around my house wondering why I am not heading out to the beach or somewhere new for breakfast and why all of the sudden everything that I hadn't even thought about for a week seems so urgent agian! Mail, emails, laundry, housework, errands. Why do these things keep attaching themselves to me - don't they know that I am supposed to be on vacation??!! It is shameful really. I can't complain one single bit. We've had some awesome opportunities to travel this last month or so and we couldn't have done it without the help of my family. My parents and Kerry's parents both watched our kids last month and we just love them so much for helping us out and for all of the work involved. The kids love their Grandma and Grandpa Idaho and and their Grandma and Grandpa Darrohna and really look forward to spending one on one time with them. For Kauai, Kerry's sister Auntie Kirsten flew out from Vegas for a week to watch our kids. The kids absolutely adore her and she transformed from favorite Auntie to soccer mom for a week and we appreciate her so much!! Hopefully we didn't ruin her! A big big thanks Kirsten!! The kids have all sorts of new movies and toys and fun memories. They want to know when you are coming back!

Thanks to all of you for all of the help - we love you tons!

Well you've had quite the fun first quarter of the year. Always adventurous Makell. Even with your busy life post more and share with us. I know those little rug rats of yours MUST be up to something good. At least the 3boys! Yes I said 3 boys, Kerry.
